Old World è un gioco di strategia 4X a turni sviluppato da Mohawk Games. Il gioco è ambientato in un mondo fittizio ispirato all'era classica della storia, dove i giocatori assumono il ruolo di una dinastia reale e guidano il loro popolo alla gloria.

In Old World, i giocatori devono gestire l'economia, la diplomazia e l'esercito del loro regno per espandere il loro territorio e la loro influenza. Il gioco presenta un sistema di meccaniche unico che permette ai giocatori di prendere decisioni basate sui tratti del loro personaggio, sulle relazioni e sulle esperienze personali.

Anche le meccaniche di combattimento sono uniche: le battaglie non si vincono solo con la forza bruta, ma anche con il posizionamento strategico e le tattiche intelligenti. I giocatori devono gestire il movimento e gli attacchi delle loro unità, sfruttando il terreno e i fattori ambientali.

Old World presenta anche un complesso sistema di relazioni e matrimoni, in cui i giocatori devono usare la diplomazia e i tratti del proprio personaggio per formare alleanze e assicurarsi il potere politico. La narrazione del gioco è plasmata dalle decisioni e dalle azioni del giocatore, creando un'esperienza unica e coinvolgente.

Una delle novità di Old World è che il suo sistema di avanzamento tecnologico non è predeterminato. In ogni partita si seguono percorsi diversi, il che apre molte opportunità e diversifica il gioco. Inoltre, il gioco offre una serie di modalità multigiocatore che consentono di mettere alla prova la propria abilità contro altri giocatori.

Old World è un'originale rivisitazione del genere 4X che introduce un'ampia gamma di meccaniche GDR per offrire un'esperienza emozionante a tutti gli appassionati del genere.
