Atlas Architect is a procedural map-building tool that lets you create beautiful 3D maps quickly, just for fun or for games like Dungeons & Dragons and other similar titles. It doesn't take a whole lot of time and it's very simple to use. Your creations will use procedurally created elements, so you won’t have much control over the small details, but it's a tradeoff that can be worth making considering how quickly the tool lets you build a serviceable map. It can be used to build up to 11 layers and you have 12 different types of terrain that you can use to enhance your map. Create archipelagos, mighty volcanoes, impenetrable forests, giant glaciers, and wide stretched farmlands. In Atlas Architect, you can also build giant fortresses and integrate them with the surrounding environment and also change the color of the constructions. You won’t be able to choose the specific buildings but merely the types of buildings that are generated in the area. View your creations in color, sepia, or black and white, zoom in very close, or get an overview from far above. Which world will you create next?
